Is Ryanair really that bad?

A bit about Ryanair

Ryanair has become such a meme in the aviation cummunity for the hard landings and the overall just poor experinence they provide, but ofcourse their primary focus is not on providing luxurious flight experience, they are a budget or low-cost airline which means that they sell tickets for very low prices but every adititional thing is gonna cost extra, for example food onboard or extra lagguge.

How much does Ryanair make?

In 2022 Ryanair made over 10 billion dollars in revenue with an over 45 percent income growt yearly.

In fact Ryanair is actually one of the most profitable airlines due to their low-cost business model.

Ryanair's competitotrs

Ofcourse Ryanair is not the only budget airline in Europe there are mainly two major competitors who also claim to domainate low-cost airtravel in Europe.

1. Wizzair

Wizzair originally known as Wizzair Hungary, it was formed in 2003 and has become a very populer low-cost airline. They operate a fleet of around 200 airbus a320 neo and 321neo planes. Aditionally, they also claim to be the most evironmentally friendly airline in Europe.

2. EasyJet

EasyJet is a british airline astablished in 1995, they only used to operate two flights from London to Glasgow and Edinburgh. Today they have a fleet of 320 airbus a320 aircrafts, although they have previously operated the Boeing 737s similar to Ryanair.

Overall

To be honest I don't think Ryaniar is a bad airline, if your flying in Europe they are the perfect option,

because of their low prices. Comparing Ryanair to Emirates or Singapore airlines which are some of the most luxurious arilines, flying much longer routes, doesen't really make much sense. Not to mention that the cost of a ticket on these airlines a significantly higher than what you have to pay for a Ryanair flight. Personally for some reason I always choose Wizzair whenever I'm flying in Europe, but all 3 airlines are a good option, if you don't want to spend a lot for just a plane ticket.
